At Northwestern University, the Panhellenic Association holds deferred Formal Recruitment each year during the first week of winter quarter. Potential New Members have the opportunity to visit all twelve Panhellenic chapters during the Recruitment process.

For the 2020-2021 school year, Northwestern PHA chapters voted to not host a formal recruitment. Instead, chapters have the ability to accept new members through informal recruitment: Continuous Open Bidding (COB). Chapters manage the continuous open bidding/informal recruitment process on their own time and are responsible for connecting with interested students directly.

If you are interested in participating in the informal recruitment process, please fill out the PHA Winter COB 2021 Interest and Eligibility Form. Panhellenic will use the information to create a database of students interested in Winter 2021 COB. This will be available to all chapters for use in the continuous open bidding/informal recruitment. Students must have completed one term of college-level coursework at an accredited institution to be eligible to join a sorority.
