Favorite thing about sorority life: Being surrounded by a group of people that inspire and empower me to take risks while supporting me when I falter

  • Enforcing the rules of the Constitution and Bylaws among the Panhellenic chapters

Favorite thing about sorority life: Having sisters who tag me in funny memes (and all the love and support and leadership skills I’ve gained)

  • Coordinating Recruitment and all Recruitment-related programming (examples include Recruitment Kickoff, Recruitment Preview, and Code of Ethics seminars)
  • Overseeing the Recruitment Counselor program
  • Overseeing Recruitment publicity, registration, budget, and technology
  • Coordinating Recruitment Chair Roundtables and overseeing chapter’s inventories and fall programming

Sophie Mann, Vice President of Community Wellness

Favorite thing about sorority life: Meeting my little and becoming an RC are both my favorite things about sorority life and two of my favorite things I’ve done since coming to Northwestern

  • Planning quarterly Grand Chapters for all Panhellenic women
  • Structuring risk management programming for Dillo Day, Homecoming and other campus events
  • Promoting the safety and well-being of the Panhellenic community through various health and wellness initiatives

Favorite Thing About Sorority Life: The community I’ve found that’s allowed me to make so many lifelong friendships and the leadership/personal growth opportunities.

  • Maintaining financial records, creating budgets, and supervising payments, reimbursements, and dues collection
  • Serving as recording secretary for PHA Executive Board Meetings, Chapter Delegates Meetings, Chapter Presidents Roundtables, and Recruitment Roundtables
  • Managing recruitment finances and collecting chapters’ recruitment budget trackers

Ari Cohen, Vice President of Programming

Favorite Thing About Sorority Life: My favorite thing about sorority life is the community that empowers and challenges me to explore my limits. I have been able to grow and expand as a function of the diverse personalities and backgrounds in it.


Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and executing Panhellenic and all-Greek events (Greek Weekend, Gone Greek Night, Homecoming, etc.)
  • Advising and supervising committees necessary for executing events
  • Representing the Greek community on the Homecoming Executive Board
  • Assisting chapter social chairs in the pairing process all-Greek events

Erin Freeman, Vice President of Membership Development

  • Approving Philanthropy dates and overseeing the philanthropy calendar

  • Holding academic and philanthropy roundtables

Danielle Pindar, Vice President of Public Relations

Favorite thing about sorority life: Meeting some of the most inspiring and powerful women that I would have otherwise never encountered if it weren’t for sorority life.

  • Managing the Northwestern Panhellenic social media platforms
  • Marketing and advertising for recruitment and the Greek events
  • Assisting individual chapters in their marketing efforts

Juliette Johnson, Vice President of Outreach and Engagement

Involvement outside of PHA: Sexual Health and Assault Peer Educators (SHAPE), Lipstick Theatre, The Daily Northwestern, FUP  
Favorite thing about sorority life: Being surrounded by women who are passionate about the empowerment and well-being of each other and other women on our campus!


Her responsibilities include:

  • Finding ways to integrate the Greek and Northwestern communities at large through frequent philanthropy and service ventures throughout the year
  • Overseeing chapter diversity and inclusion chairs
  • Helping facilitate conversations amongst chapters about our identities and impacts

Karen Pryor, Panhellenic Advisor



Karen is a full-time staff member in the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life, primarily advising the Panhellenic Association, the formal recruitment process, and all Panhellenic and NPHC chapters. Originally hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, Karen received her undergraduate degree in Literature from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. During her college years she was extremely involved with her sorority, as well as Panhellenic. She went on to earn her Master of Education degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education at the University of Maryland, College Park. She most recently worked at the University of New Mexico in the Office of Student Activities before making the move to Northwestern. In her free time she enjoys traveling, reading, eating, painting, and cultivating an impressive $5 DVD collection from Target.
